Space and Power in the Honda Pilot
When you're carting kids around to sports practices, taking your turn in the carpool rotation, or packing up supplies for a much-needed vacation, a three-row SUV certainly comes in handy. And in this hot market segment, you won't encounter a shortage of choices. That might make the selection process seem a bit overwhelming, but when it comes down to it, you probably already know that you can't go wrong when you choose a Honda.
The Honda Pilot is a midsize SUV that offers abundant room for passengers and cargo alike. Unlike the third row you'll find in some three-row SUVs, which seem better suited for dolls than people-sized people, the third row in the Pilot is not just functional, but actually roomy and comfortable.
In fact, passengers in every row have space enough to stretch out and get comfortable for the ride, which, by the way, is a smooth one.
Another selling point? The Pilot puts a strong emphasis on safety. That's especially important in a vehicle that's carrying around up to eight passengers. Drivers are sure to enjoy the added confidence and peace of mind that comes from knowing their Pilot is backed by Honda's unwavering dedication to providing top-notch safety.
Bob Lindsay Honda has a robust inventory of new and high-quality pre-owned automobiles for you to peruse to your heart's content. If the Pilot is your top choice, explore the trims and decide which ones you'd like to test drive. If you're in the market for something smaller, say aCR-V or an HR-V, we've got those, too! Once you've devised your list of favorites, it's time to get behind the wheel and experience what these vehicles feel like in action. Our friendly team members can help you every step of the way, so give us a call today!

The 2023 Honda Pilot is an all-new model with a fresh design, state-of-the-art platform, high-tech infotainment equipment, advanced off-roading features, and a bigger spacious cabin and cargo area, but with the same fuel-efficient performance. The exterior of the 2023 Pilot features a new grille, slim LED headlights with daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, a front underbody garnish, and a large air intake above the front bumper. It gets smaller wheels and larger all-terrain tires, a roof rack, a rear spoiler, a rear underbody garnish, and wraparound body cladding. The cabin of the 2023 Honda Pilot has a more streamlined cockpit with power-adjustable seats, soft and padded touchpoints, and a multi-function steering wheel with audio controls. The new Pilot also comes with a tablet-like infotainment screen with HondaLink®, Apple CarPlay® Android Auto™, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Honda Pilot: A Quick History Lesson
The Honda Pilot debuted for 2003 and boasted class-leading cargo capacity. Until 2005, every model came standard with Variable Torque Management 4WD. In 2006, a two-wheel drivetrain was introduced, as were new front and rear stylings and standard side curtain airbags in all three rows. A longer and edgier style debuted on the 2009 model, along with a host of new features.
With subsequent models making cosmetic alterations, adding advanced tech features like Bluetooth connectivity, and incorporating comfort and convenience functions like tri-zone automatic climate control, the Pilot continues to be ahead of the curve when it comes to anticipating and providing what drivers want most.
